7 Eleven Hawaii used Trumpia SMS marketing to quickly send promotions to customers

Who They Are

7-Eleven Hawaii is a group of 62 locations of the world-renowned convenient store chain. Using Trumpia’s software, they were able to grow business by sending weekly product specials, building their contact database, and driving traffic to their stores.



7-Eleven Hawaii wanted a quick and easy way to send promotions to all their customers, but paper coupons are a nuisance to remember and carry. 7-Eleven needed a digital marketing solution that was easy to use and could handle the sheer volume of coupons they would need for all of their locations.

Application & Solution

7-Eleven Hawaii first used Trumpia for the Oahu locations. They created the mobile keyword “PROMOS.” This mobile keyword campaign gained over 3,700 sign-ups. Sending thousands of text promotions was easy, but they didn’t stop at simple messaging.

With our powerful automation technologies, they were able to boost coupon redemption rates by sending a reminder five days before coupon expiration to anyone who hadn’t redeemed it yet. After seeing the success of their campaign, they expanded it to all 62 locations.
